Garfield County Human Services has a COVID-19 resource guide for residents that includes information on childcare, community assistance and senior services among other resources.

211 Colorado is a statewide community resource connecting individuals and families to critical resources including food, shelter, rental assistance, childcare, and more. Call 2-1-1 or Text your zip code to 898-211 (message and data rates apply). You can also access their web based search function for more help.

Food Bank of the Rockies

The Food Bank of the Rockies has locations and partners in 30 counties across Colorado, including Garfield. Click here to find a food bank in your area.

Domestic Violence

To get help call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or go to thehotline.org. Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

 

Child Abuse and Neglect

To report suspected child abuse or neglect call the Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 1-844-CO-4-Kids. Learn more about child abuse and neglect and supports for families at co4kids.org.

 

At-Risk Adults

To report concerns of mistreatment or self-neglect for an at-risk adult, contact Adult Protective Services at the local county human services office where the at-risk adult lives.

Housing Resources of Western Colorado

Housing Resources of Western Colorado works with individuals to provide affordable rentals, housing rehabilitation and assistance to lower utility bills. Mesa, Garfield, and Rio Blanco Counties fall within HRWCO service area for the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program.
