Garfield County Human Services has a COVID-19 resource guide for residents that includes information on childcare, community assistance and senior services among other resources.

Call 2-1-1 or Text your zip code to 898-211 (message and data rates apply). You can also access their web based search function for more help.
FindHelp.org is the most comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date aggregation of free and reduced-cost programs helping Americans affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Child Abuse and Neglect

To report concerns of mistreatment or self-neglect for an at-risk adult, contact Adult Protective Services at the local county human services office where the at-risk adult lives.
Housing Resources of Western Colorado
Housing Resources of Western Colorado works with individuals to provide affordable rentals, housing rehabilitation and assistance to lower utility bills. Mesa, Garfield, and Rio Blanco Counties fall within HRWCO service area for the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program.
